Kenwood is an area of Sonoma Valley north of the town of Sonoma. It is a rural quiet area with a town center of basic servises, post office and restaurants. From the center of the town of Sonoma it is approximately a 15-20 minutes drive north depending on traffic. Highway 12 is the main road through the area and a simply beautiful drive.

Glen Ellen is close by which offers more restaurants, wineries and a popular market. Also, it is home to the Jack London State Park.
